Basically, we’ll want to know your overall business goals. Are you setting up a new business, or needing help raising awareness of your existing business? Are you wanting to increase traffic to your website, or increase engagement on your socials, or both? Do you simply need something expertly designed, say bus-back adverts or stand-out business cards? We can talk about all of this in person, or you can drop us a line to start the conversation.
Yes! We’re happy to spend an hour with you to talk about your business and understand what you’re wanting to achieve. Simply send us an SOS and we’ll set up a time for you to come in or to chat to us online via Teams. Don’t worry, you’ll be in the hands of a real-live expert IN Rotorua – no chat bots here!
Rather than provide a one-size-fits-all cost (let’s put to rest that one size rarely fits all!), we prefer to understand your ideas and needs first. This helps ensure you’re paying for what you actually want and need. We combine competitive pricing with quality craftsmanship, and providing a detailed quote up front means there are no surprises.
Each project is unique, with variables to factor in such as scope, complexity and demand for our services. Once we understand your project and requirements, we can provide a timeline and keep you updated on our progress. We always aim to be as quick and efficient as possible without sacrificing the care and high quality output we’re known for.
Absolutely! We’re here for you whether you simply need your logo placed in a document, a social media strategy that’s on brand and en pointe, a website built from scratch, or any type of job in between.
While we love to look after our locals here in Rotorua, we have wonderful clients located all around Aotearoa and even abroad. Location is rarely a barrier these days, so give us a shout from wherever you are and let us help!
There are many questions to ask yourself when considering a new brand. Perhaps your competitors are looking sharper than you? Or you’ve evolved your business and this has altered your core values or target market? Does your logo, typography, or colour palette seem dated or a bit out of sync? Is your key messaging missing the mark or confusing your audience? Perhaps you have just outgrown your existing identity. If you answered yes to any of these questions, it’s likely time to look at a brand reset.
If you want to keep your core identity, but step into a more modern and professional space, updating your colours, messaging, or modernising your logo could make a big difference to how your brand is perceived.
Redspot will look at your brand from a strategic point of view and consider all foundational elements such as your mission and values, your target market, and audience touch points to create a modern and effective brand. This would include logo design, typography and colour choices, graphic elements such as patterns or icon suites, effective key messaging, and put it all together into a brand guide that can be effectively rolled out and maintained (yes, following a brand guide is critical for protecting your brand). We can put together great samples or mock-ups of how it all works together, and help you launch your shiny new brand to the world!
Fear not, we’ll supply multiple logo formats for your use, or external use – such as for signwriting – and your brand guide will tell you which ones to use in which applications. JPG logos are good to use in print or digital formats where transparency is not required, or switch to PNG when you need that transparent background. Vector versions such as EPS or SVG can be used when the logo needs to be scaled up for signage.
We’d love to say yes, but the answer depends on which platform your existing website is built on. We build on WordPress and prefer to work with that platform. If you aren’t sure which platform your site is built on, we can help you find out.
We can help by conducting an audit of your website and providing a report that shows what improvements can be made to your website to increase search engine visibility and determine what opportunities there are to improve your digital marketing efforts and results.
A small, customised website (4 to 6 pages) with basic elements and functions can generally be finished in a few weeks. If you require more pages and/or features such as shopping carts, user accounts and logins, or payment processing which require a more complex design and functionality, you’re looking at a few months of development and testing. As with anything designed from scratch, the timeline is also affected by content (copy, branding and images) readiness and the number of revisions and stakeholder approvals. While we’re planning your web build we can provide a timeline that suits your business goals.
If you already have great photos and videos then we’d love to incorporate those into your new website. If you don’t, we regularly work with some great photographers and videographers, and we have access to stock footage. Let us know if you need help gathering visual assets for your website.
We build websites on WordPress and Elementor. WordPress is the most used website platform in the world and Elementor is a drag-and-drop editor that makes it easy for you to make updates to your site once the website build is complete, if you wish to. Both programmes are widely used which means they are regularly updated, secure and reliable. The flexibility of these pieces of software mean your website can grow and evolve as your business does.
We will create your website to the best technical SEO standards. Before you write your website content, we can provide a keyword research report which will give you relevant keywords to work into your website copy. SEO is something you need to keep working at, our Growth and Premium Care Plans incorporate monthly SEO health checks.
SEO is evolving but still very important. People are now searching in lots of different ways including on generative AI engines and social media. GEO (generative engine optimisation) increases the likelihood of your website being referenced by AI tools. We have a few tricks up our sleeve to improve both your SEO and GEO, so let’s get together to discuss!
Yes, once we’ve completed the build we will give you access to the site and provide some tutorials to help you get started. WordPress and Elementor are user friendly. In addition to our own tutorials, there’s also a lot of help online. If you’d prefer not to edit your website, we’re always happy to make the changes for you. We have maintenance packages available that include regular content changes.
With every new web build we provide access to a Google Analytics account that will give you the default analytics available through GA4. Redspot also has the expertise to provide custom analytics and conversion tracking and can set up your Google Analytics account to show you data in a way that is meaningful to you and your business.

That depends on your target market. For example, if you’re selling straight to consumers and targeting a young demographic, you might focus on Instagram and TikTok. If you’re a B2B company you might focus on LinkedIn, Google and email marketing. We can help you decide which marketing channels are best for your business.
It’s best to get in touch with us so we can discuss your business goals and target market and make a plan. Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) are the two most commonly used advertising platforms and can deliver very good results and are reasonably cost efficient.
Redspot’s creative design service has evolved over time to include web, digital and motion. Being able to cover a full range of creative design needs makes for better brand development as we understand how the brand elements need to perform in all the places the brand will be seen.
Brand development from Redspot is not limited to visual concepts. We can make naming and strapline recommendations, advise on brand architecture, help determine the brand proposition and values, and write brand stories to illustrate tone of voice.
Beyond the initial brand development, we work alongside clients to launch or relaunch their brands and love the chance to develop targeted campaigns that add depth to the brand and achieve particular objectives.
