The WAG Collaborative formed in 2013. It is a partnership between artists Glenn McLeary and Warren Houston of Customs Department Airbrush Art. Using Glenn’s creative flair for the concepts and finished digital art and Warren’s airbrushing skills, they have teamed up on several projects to combine their talents.
Toys gone bad
The first project was a series of 12 one metre square paintings on high quality canvas called ‘Toys gone bad’ The paintings were produced for gallery exhibition and have been shown in Dunedin (December 2013) and Tauranga (2014) . A 2014 calendar was produced as part of the original exhibiton and sold out, some of the originals are still available for purchase.
A second and current project is the design and painting of the a real production ‘funny car’ this is a work in progress and more images of the completed project will be uploaded on completion.
