Te Arawa Fisheries is synonymous with Rotorua and we were excited to embark on a new website project with them.
The Te Arawa Fisheries Group came to us looking for a website makeover – both in design and functionality – to match their refreshed brand. We started the new build in WordPress – a content management system used by 30% of the world’s websites. It’s easy to use, open source and there’s functionality galore available to plug in – booking systems, appointment functionality, interactive maps – you name it, we can do it. Needless to say, we love WordPress.
We spent a day on location with the team to add new imagery to their media library. The new website features a categorised noticeboard section so that latest news can be archived in an orderly fashion, and a dropdown menu clearly defining Te Arawa Fisheries’ separate entities.
The launch of the site doesn’t stop there – as with all of our new builds, we go the extra mile and make sure the site has on-page SEO, Google Analytics hooked up so you can track your website traffic, and letting Google know that the website exists in the first place!
